14 Unbelievable Luxury Homes of NFL Players

These NFL Stars Have Great Homes

NFL players give more than what people understand. The average football enthusiast just sees a bunch of guys playing a kids game, running around throwing a ball and wearing cool uniforms. They see the money and the glamour and they turn green with envy. Many think these guys don’t deserve the lives they are able to live. What few people understand is that these guys pay for these luxurious lifestyles with more than just money. They pay with their pain, their blood, their sweat and sometimes health and they even take years off of their lives by playing the ultra-tedious game that pays them so damn well.

......So instead of resenting them for the money they have, the cars that they drive- let’s take a moment to celebrate the sacrifices they make every day, so that we can all watch them play some of the greatest game in the world every Sunday.

Peyton Manning

The superstar quarterback of the Denver Broncos has been in the league for a long time. He has won a super bowl and been to two others and has set numerous records along the way. He is certain to be a first ballot Hall-of-Famer, and he lives in a home that reflects all of that.

Manning’s mansion is 16,000 square feet of luxury and class. Built and decorated in a traditional and conservative theme, his home has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, which means that little brother Eli can come visit and bring his family anytime he wants. With the way the NY Giants have been playing this year, he may be able to stay with Peyton while the Broncos spar off the panthers, and the Giants are home for the holidays.

If he does, I’m sure he will find a use for the seven car garage, the gated entrance and the elevator. But a really nice feature that isn’t talked about often is the panic room that Peyton had built in. You never know when a rogue defensive lineman may come knocking on your door I suppose. Manning’s mansion is worth $4.6 Million.

Tom Brady

One of the most amazing quarterbacks in the game today, Tom Brady has rewarded himself and his family with a nice, cozy place to live. The 22,000 square foot mansion is the most expansive home on this list. Some of you may think that these numbers are inflated, but…Oh well, you get the joke by now.

Being a three time winner of the Super Bowl helps, but when you are married to a former high fashion model like Gisele, you have no choice but to provide the very best, especially when you look like Tom. Sorry brother, but she didn’t marry you for your hairstyle.

From the helicopter view It looks like 8 bedrooms, a lagoon shaped pool, a nursery, weight rooms and a wine cellar may have been just enough for the former Wolverine to close the deal with the Brazilian bombshell. It’s funny that older quarterbacks all seem to have elevators in their homes. I guess those steps get to be painful after you have taken a beating from defenses through the years. Brady’s mansion is worth proximity $20 Million.

Richard Sherman

Coming straight out of college this gridiron football star had negative tabloids. He got some bad press about his attitude and felt that he fell in the draft because of it. But Pete Carroll, the coach of the Seattle Seahawks saw something in this warrior that he felt was going to be special. He drafted him, signed him and Richard blossomed into the lockdown cornerback that he knew he could be.

After leading the number one defense in the NFL to a Super Bowl victory two years ago, Sherman received a nice fat contract extension, making him one of the highest paid defensive players in the game. He rewarded himself by purchasing his $2.3 Million dollar mansion where he can rest and recuperate after chasing receivers all day long.

This gorgeous home has 4 bedrooms and over 6 bathrooms. He has a wet bar, a full-sized regulation basketball court and a couple of beautiful fireplaces that he can enjoy if he ever slows down for a couple of minutes. As for that bad press he got coming out of college…they say success is the best revenge. Well played by Richard.

Devin Hester

Coming out of the University of Miami, Devin Hester was a better than average receiver looking for a team. The Chicago Bears were looking for a kick returner that could electrify the crowds. Through an incredible twist of fate, the two found each other, and the rest was history.

After setting the NFL on fire Devin Hester became the most prolific return man in NFL history. That excellence at his craft turned into an unbelievable contract and a chance at expanding his craft into assuming an additional role of wide receiver. Now playing for the Atlanta Falcons, Hester has decided to sell his massive Chicago home.

His home populates 10,000 square feet over three beautiful floors. He has an ultra-modern state-of-the-art style kitchen. The magnificent estate is one of the nicest on this list, but one of the few that are currently on the market. Devin isn’t money hungry obviously, since he is only asking $2.65 Million for his humble home.

 Reggie Bush

Since graduating from USC and entering the NFL years ago, Reggie Bush has enjoyed plenty of success. He has been rewarded with new contracts from interested teams, received endorsements and even dated Kim Kardashian for a notable amount of time. Obviously, he is accustomed to having beautiful things around him.

His home is no different. Reggie has a magnificent home with all of the modern amenities. His estate has three levels of top shelf luxury, including a specially made second story library and loft. He also had a top of the line home theater installed, for those moments when a stud running back needs to kick back and watch “When the Game Stands tall.”

The large estate has a pool with a spa of course, as most do in this elite price range. But it also has custom wood decks, a special Barbecue center and a built in dog run. Like most players who are regularly nursing swollen knees and painful legs after games, his home comes with an elevator to access all three levels. It is worth approximately $5.1 Million.

Phillip Rivers

The self-assertive quarterback of the San Diego Chargers has always been an individual who stood out from the crowd. Back in his days at North Carolina State University, he played with a reckless abandon that made the NFL teams take notice. On draft day, he almost ended up in New York, but instead was part of a highly controversial deal that sent Eli manning to New York and landed Phillip in San Diego.

Since then he has played the game as if  life dependent on it. Time after time, he has done just that. His abilities have never gotten him to the Super Bowl, but they have gotten him a new contract that made him one of the highest paid quarterbacks in the NFL. His house reflects that achievement.

Rivers has a 6 bedroom mansion with 6 bathrooms. He has a private rose garden and a courtyard with a fountain, which show off his flair for originality. His swimming pool has a waterfall, and the house has a wine cellar, a library and a media room. Valued at $3.3 Million his home is as unique as the player he is.

Aaron Rodgers

The superstar quarterback for the Green Bay Packers has worked for everything he has earned in his life. Coming out of college he was drafted late in the first round, after many other quarterbacks had been drafted before him. All of those players are now out of the NFL of holding clipboards on the sidelines.

Meanwhile, Rodgers puts up Hall of Fame numbers and wins Super Bowls. He has cemented himself as the starter in Green Bay for as long as he wants to play the game, much like his predecessor, Brett Favre. He is a mainstay, and his contract has reached biblical proportions. His home matches that level of achievement.

He has a  enormous home with numerous bedrooms and bathrooms, but he also has a swimming pool and spa, a gigantic dining room for entertaining and some exquisite landscaping. His home reflects the way he plays the game, with extreme attention to detail and nothing less, but what's a perfectionist to do.

Rob Gronkowski

“Gronk” as he is commonly called by teammates and friends, has become the most prolific tight end in the game today. His statistics are comparable to most of the top wide receivers around the league and he is Tom Brady’s favorite weapon. When the New England Patriots need a clutch play in the red zone, you can bet that the ball is going to Gronk.

Gronk is also the NFL’s most eligible bachelor. His home has been called the ultimate bachelor pad. The 4,781 square feet that make up his living area are full of attractions. The home sports ten flat screen televisions and a sound system that is controlled by his iPhone. His home has a boat dock for his 26 foot speedboat as well.

The home also has an elevator for the player who has taken a beating so that he can get around easier. In addition, he has a wet bar, a fully functioning media room and built in fish tanks. His game room has a billiards table and all the extras. This bachelor pad is worth approximately $2.4 Million.

Brandon Marshall

The super-talented wide receiver with the great hands and the big mouth has been in Denver, Miami, Chicago and now New York. His game has gotten better and better but his attitude continues to be his worst enemy. Even so, he has continued to find a place to call home throughout his travels and remains one of the best receivers in the game.

His current home is in Sunny Southwest Ranches, Florida. The six bedroom, seven bathroom home covers 11,877 square feet. Given Brandon’s varied interests, such as broadcasting and commentating, it isn’t a surprise that the home also has a built in media room and theater to go with the swimming pool and spa.

The four car garage houses his additional toys. The fire pit is available for those outdoor outings at night. The gym is available to him when he feels like working on some off season conditioning. The home is worth a total $4.15 Million and appears to be worth every cent.

Robert Griffin III

Robert Griffin III arrived onto the NFL scene with a flashy smile and breakneck speed. His moves confounded defenses and excited the Washington Redskins crowds. His celebrity status grew quickly on and off the field, as he turned up in Subway and Gatorade commercials every hour on the hour.

As a top draft pick, RGIII was awarded a nice NFL salary with bonuses. But his endorsement deals overcame his salary pretty quickly and his lifestyle jumped ahead just as fast. His enormous home is in sync with his growing fortune, and at 8,800 square feet it is a sight to see.

Located in Creighton Farms in Aldie, Virginia, his home has a media room for watching game film, a library and a stone wine cellar. The five bedroom, four bathroom estate also sports a decorative ebony staircase, a Jacuzzi and a golf course. The private elevator must have come in handy too, after RGIII blew out his knee his rookie season.

Marshawn Lynch

After being a top player in his college career, Lynch languished away with a poorly coached Buffalo Bills squad for several years. It wasn’t until he was signed by Seattle that the true beast inside of him was finally let out, and it took over the NFL.

The new and improved version of Lynch has been dubbed “Beast-Mode” by fans and players alike. He runs with reckless abandon and gives it everything he has with each fighting step. But he isn’t a battling warrior all the time. When he is at home, he is living the high life, without a care in the world.

Lynch’s home is 7,000 square feet of luxury with 5 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms and a 58 foot dock. Located on the San Francisco Bay with magnificent views, his home is the picture of comfort and relaxation. It’s the perfect place for a stud running back to relax and recover from a hard day of scoring touchdowns.

Patrick Peterson

The tremendous athlete from LSU has been making a lasting impression on offenses since he came into the league. The Pro-Bowl cornerback is a household name in Arizona after just a few short years and he is making his mark in the kick return game as well.

His mansion is as striking as his style of play on the field. There are seven large bedrooms and eight bathrooms for family and friends to stay in while they are in town to watch a game. The house has two fireplaces, not that you need them in Arizona, but the ambiance is nice.

The mansion has all of the amenities that one would expect with a price tag of $1.3 Million. The home has a billiard area, a home theater and a six car garage. The outside of the house has been taken to task as well, as there is a fire pit, barbeque pit, two swimming pools, a spa and rock waterfalls.

DeMarcus Ware

The magnificent Denver Bronco linebacker has been terrorizing NFL offenses for years. But he was not always in Denver. He was actually with Dallas at the beginning of his career, so it should come as no surprise that he currently still owns a house there.

Ware is selling his $2.2 Million dollar mansion since he has moved to Denver for the foreseeable future. It shouldn’t take long as this home is stacked with extras. In addition to the six bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms this home has a specialty trampoline.

The wine porch and the putting green are excellent additions, and the home has a ridiculous seven fireplaces that will certainly help his resale value should he ever decide to sell. Ware had plenty of money to spend on these extras when he was a member of the Cowboys. Now that he is making even more as a Bronco player, the next house should be really amazing.

Tony Romo

Several years ago Drew Bledsoe was the starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys under head coach, Bill Parcells. Drew was injured badly during a Monday Night Football game and a young, unknown gunslinger from Northern Illinois ran out to the huddle. He was gangly and unsure of himself, until he threw his first pass.

Tony Romo became a sensation in Dallas that year. He took over for the seasoned veteran Bledsoe and brought the Cowboys back into the limelight that they had so sorely missed. He brought back a swagger that the team needed, both personally and professionally. He even dated the hottest women in Texas, having relationships with Jessica Simpson and Carrie Underwood, to name a few.

His home has all of the signs of being owned by a guy who has come to expect the best things in life. With 6 bedrooms and a study, the home is big enough for his big $100 Million dollar contract to have its own room. The three fireplaces, white marble floors and custom outdoor entertaining area are all icing on this Cowboy’s cake.
